How much money do you have? What’s your net worth? Are you renting or do you own your own home?

None of your damn business. That’s what we’d like to say, but nowadays you have to answer that question. We might be pressured into entering an amount on numerous applications. You might want to pump that figure up while luring the opposite sex into further negotiations. Or during the last Real Estate boom, you may have been lucky enough to have someone inflate the amounts for you. Either way, this seems a valid concern when judging one’s ability to be a part of our world. Or so it seems.

Go ahead and ask yourself if you are successful. What comes to mind? Be really honest now. The answer is money and what money can buy. I know some of you will argue that money isn’t everything but think of the last time you didn’t have enough. We’re funny little creatures. We don’t like pain or the slightest memory of pain. So it’s much easier to get comfortable, make a comfortable living and forget about stepping outside of our comfort zone.

There is a reason why only 3% of the world’s population has 97% of all the wealth. People are generally lazy. We’ll only do what is necessary to survive and when the need arises, we boost our output to accommodate the want for more. It’s no secret that throughout our lives we have ample opportunity to step up to the next level. But alas, the committee of a-holes in our head decides the risk is always greater than the reward. Just last month you failed at an attempt for greatness and vowed, never again.

The exact thing happens to many whom think Network Marketing is some magical opening to riches. And when their expectations aren’t immediately met, they quit. I’m no different. I went from buying books that would show me how to beat the casinos in Blackjack to taking a $4,000.00 course in trading the Forex. But slowly over the years it has become clear that I was looking for the quick fix. The more money I spent, the more the return.

Take it from an opportunity junkie: there is no quick fix. If you’re to succeed at anything, you must have the mindset that you will continue to”Do” until it is done. Period. No turning back. Just keep doing until it is done.
