The pH Miracle diet can be described as a program that restores balance in your body. Dr. Young recommends that you should consume 70% alkaline food and 30% acid food when you follow the pH Miracle diet. This means that there is some flexibility in the amount of acid foods that you can eat. It is normal to be tempted to include animal protein in this 30% but if you rather choose slightly acidic foods like pasta, oats or eggs instead of the highly acidic meats, you will be able to restore the balances in your body at a faster rate.

It is entirely up to you whether you choose to become a vegetarian or not if you follow the pH Miracle diet, however don’t you owe it to your health to reduce or cut out altogether the amount of animal protein you consume every day?
