Freight broker training seems to be an up and coming home based business. Not only in the training field, but the brokering business itself. With the economy slowly but surely crumbling, people are looking for something more stable with less fear and worry. Although freight brokering has always been a very competitive and fast paced business, it is even more so now. But it can still have its rewards. You can train at home and even work from home.

You don’t have to worry about getting up and traveling to work or having to find a baby sitter if yours is sick, etc. etc. But you must keep in mind that freight brokering is a business and should be treated as such. You should start and end your workdays at the same time, keeping your schedule and routine the same each week. Is it a quick fix? No. But as long as there are companies who have a product to move, they will need a truck to move it.

The old saying is true, America does move by truck. Think about it. Planes, ships, buses and trains can’t go where a truck goes. But anyway, if you are thinking about becoming a freight broker agent, or opening a freight brokerage, make sure you get the proper freight broker training. Call your prospective trainer, talk to him/her and DON’T be afraid to ask questions. Remember, freight broker training should come from someone who is highly qualified and has excellent references.
